Book Condition: Author: Robert Ingham Clegg, 33° with the co-operation of many eminent authorities including William James Hughan. Near Fine. Brown leatherette covers with green, gray and red ink stamped decorative borders, front cover has gilt stamped emblem of publishing company, spine has bright gilt lettering and bright gold embossed Freemason emblem; all edges of text block gilt; bright gilt endpapers stamped with Freemason emblem. All volumes have full color frontispiece and numerous illustrated plates in color and b/w. Volume 1 contains a full page color portrait of Mackey, printed with brush strokes on heavy cloth. All volumes have corners slightly bumped, head and tail of spines slightly bumped, some have boards slightly bowed. Pages clean and crisp. Except for shelfwear, appears unread.
